OTHER: So last weekend I forgot to mention the wonderful job that Lewis did on Hockenheim. Coming from the back field, to the near front. In a blast of a race. Not every overtaking was flawless. But not bad enough to be penalised for it. Thankfully for him. After the brakes were switched for Hamilton, Horner said publicly that it is an interesting case. The brakes were the same weight, yes. But not the same type or brand. So is this indeed in the regulations or not. We didn't hear anything about it ever since. So appearently it's not a problem. Then there was a lot to do about if the stewards should be heavy on all the drivers or not. When it comes to punishment. In Hockenheim we saw a light-form from the stewards. It will continue this way until it's proven otherwise I guess. Personally I like it. But at some point in Germany I wanted the stewards to take action. Even against Hamilton, but also others... So I guess will have to wait and see what happens. But it's better then the 'kindergarten' stewards from before. That's a fact !

QUALLY: It was boring at Hungary it seems. Practice was overruled by the same person. Qually expected rain, but only on Sunday (more on that later). So the qually started the same as always. Until some suprises came along. Maldonado was quiet quick done with his qually. And saw him without a time. The same it went for Hamilton unfortantly. A problem with the fuel system saw the back of the car catching fire rather rapidly. Which ment alot of work for the mechanics and as said no time for Hamilton. Then the other suprise in Q1 was Raikkonen. He and his team mis-read the situation which meant Q2 for Bianchi, and not for Raikkonen. The two early exits meant also that Sauber went more to the middle of the pack. Place 12 and 14. Besides that no big suprises, besides a small amount of rain drops in Q3. But they only harmed Rosberg, who went almost sideways. And Magnussen who did went sideways in the first corner. And so it was over for him. We did saw Vettel on P2 because of this weird situation, but besides that nothing wrong...

RACE: The race saw some rain before it even started. Ericsson went off almost instantly which saw a safety car on track. After that when it almost went in Grosjean went off, so it had to stay out a bit longer. After the safety car was done. Most of the drivers went for there first normal pit stop which saw Rosberg drop down horribly. And Hamilton was almost catching up rapidly (from the back). He said it couldn't be done. But in the end because of the situation he did manage. Ricciardo, Massa and Vettel were in the run for the podium most of time. With sometimes Alonso as well. Which is good, because he deserves it. But the end he spoiled it because they didn't change tyres in the last part of the race. We saw some criticised overtakings. (Talked about the low level stewards in the intro). And we were witness of Hamilton just overruling team sayings about letting Rosberg passed. Don't know if they will talk to Hamitlon about it. My personally oppinion would say no ! They wanted Rosberg passed Hamilton but he was still 1 to 1,5 second behind him. So if he was really that faster he should done it on his own speed. He didn't, and Hamilton didn't let him pass. Because of that perhaps ? Eitherway Hamilton showed not real happy on 3rd spot of the podium, so maybe he senses something already but they shouldn't be to hard on him. Rosberg did the same on a couple of occasions this year. So why should Hamilton do differently ? The championship is still open. Ricciardo on one. Alonso second, and Hamilton third. Rosberg only fourth. This was the 11th race of the season. We still have 8 to go when we return from summer break in Belgium at Spa-Francorchamps...
